Juss thinkin.........

Christmas was, once, a wonderful time that was celebrated with family, friends . The elders would gather the children around the fire place and tell them the story about Jesus Christ who was born on Christmas Day.
Some people, now, call it a "a day off from office work." People stand in line at at malls, after Thanksgiving, then rush through the doors to buy, purchase and buy more.....But wondering on what is the real meaning of christmas...Is it juss buyin things , gifts...we all celebrate different festivals being in a country as diverse as ours...we have numerous festivals are these meant only for buying and exchanging gifts I sometimes wonder.... ..........

Nightmare one of the Nightmare series......

This is nightmare one.I was in the elevator........had to use it coz my web cartridge was empty so was not able to swing across to home.............So I had to use the elevator...This hugewoman stood next to me.She probably weighed well over around 400 lbs. She stood in frontof me real close and looked down at my poor innocent brown eyes. Then she looked me in the eye as though peering deep into my soul "Did you ever try a big woman?" she said." Try me you mightlike it." I had a vision of being pinned under her on the carpet struggling for air as I was being smothered to death. What would I be able to tell her I thought? I valued air more than sex?I took my eyes off of her's and looked straight ahead only to discover two mountain sized chests. The thought of these things smothering my head added to my mental horror. I tried to lean back and take a look down. When I saw the size of the rest of her and realizing how small I was, I thought this women is having dillussions of wishful thinking and I tried tostop the elevator but all of a sudden the lights went off....................Huge women give een spidey a scare.........................

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE-3

There was no moon that night, and the deathly stillness of the surroundings was broken only occasionally by the barking of a street dog.It was pouring and the wind had risen from its uncertain puffs into steady blows. On such a cold December night,a lone figure could be seen hurrying across to the Church gate station.Catching a seat in an unusually empty local train,he sat back ."Bhai saab time kya hai?",asked a strange voice from behind. He looked back straight over to the stranger with his bulging bloodshot eyes.
The stranger was panicstriken in a second as if he had committed a henious crime by asking him the time.
Sweating profusely the stranger continued turning the pages of his tome. The trains destination was Andheri railway station.Ten minutes later the train reached Andheri and a 9 hour long flight took
Kalicharan across the oceans to The United states of America.

Kalicharan was a killer ,a man trained in hard school for killing and a graduate of many encounters with the Mumbai Police. Yes,kalicharan was a TERRORIST; a man who wanted to prove something but only by means of senseless violence. And he wasn’t in the states for a holiday; he had a job to do;a mission to accomplish.
The next morning at the headquarters of the F.B.I , sat General Gibson talking over the phone to A.C.P Khan of the Mumbai police special forces. He turned to Major Russell Hanks and said,”The Indian police have confirmed report about Kalicharan being upto some mischief.” “Hmm..”,said the General,”It seems that Kalicharan is already in California and plans to abduct my favourite actress.
Do you know what this means,Russ? He plans to kidnap JULIA!!” After thinking for a while he said,
“Send for Agent Nick”.
Julia was a famous actress and a personal favourite of Agent Nick as well.An hour later a man entered the headquarters of the F.B.I. Yes t’was Agent Nick,a man of principle-a poet and a scholar,a man who was sickened by the violence that had been woven into the very fabric of his life. And he was the only who could stop Kalicharan from carrying out his mad plan. JULIA was a in L.A for her shooting schedule and knew nothing of the threat that Kalicharan posed to her life.”I want you to reach to Julia before this madman does”, ordered General Gibson.
As agent Nick left the headquarters he thought,"Well, boy, the chase is on!"He got into his red Ferrari and drove away. His destination was small restaurant in L.A, where JULIA was shooting for her new film 'NAUGHTY WOMAN'.
Meanwhile in L.A ,in front of Julia's dressing room, a taxi pulled up at the security gate.As the security guard looked into the car,he peered into Kalicharans bloodshot eyes."I am from the press .Let me through now!"said Kalicharan. The guard sensed some mischeif and would not open the gate."Son of a *+*",said Kalicharan, and a bullet ripped through the guards head.Kalicharan got out of the car and was headed straight to Julia. Moments later Agent Nick reached the spot and was surprised to see the security guard in a pool of blood.'This is it',he said to himself and pulling a gun out of his pocket he ran forward.
Seconds later he heard a scream from the ladies toilet.Agent Nick being a big fan of Julia's, had seen all her movies, and could tell without doubt that the scream was Julia's. Kalicharan was pointing his gun towards Julia and looked a menacing figure as ever.At that very instant Agent Nick burst into the room,
breaking the glass pane of the window, with a gun blazing in his hands. The first bullet hit Kalicharan in the arm and the second bullet ripped through his head. With Kalicharan dead and Julia in his arms Agent Nick
said,"Adios Amigos ....",closing the door behind him.

A curse

"We are thrown in this world without any rime or reason"-A french philosopher based the whole philosophy of existentialism on this thought. People have always been probing into the query why are
into this world which is so full of weariness, fever and fret. And we have examinations to add to this weariness .
Examinations are a curse !Well, most students regard examinations as a curse, and in a sense they are a curse. The approach of examinations brings along horrible past memmories of sleepless nights and anxiety.
It also means the beggining of fear in the mind of a student, and the fear is at its height when the examination is about to commence. The examinations and the results are the only worry of the student, their only anxiety;examinations are like a sour lemon in a basketfull of sweetlimes because they are the only unpleasant experience in a otherwise happy and carefree life. The bugbear of an examination interrupts
the smoot course of a students life.Games, musical concerts ,debates and other extra curriclar activities are all stopped for some time as studens get busy for examination preparations. Students are not to be found in college corridors, lawn, cinema houses, restaurants and other places of entertainment.
"O solitude! where are the charms
that eager have seen in thy face?
Better dwell in the midst of alarms
than reign in this horrible place."
are William Cowpers words which I say to myself when I find no one around during the examination days.
Some students do regard examinations to be spur to effort,or an incentive to work. They believe examinations are held to test a students ability,to check up the work they have done during the term, to judge what progress they have made and to determine whether they have been utilising or wasting their time.If there were no examinations, the merits of the various students could not be judjed, nor would the majority of students take any interest in their studies. They think that all these things combine to urge a student to hardwork.
On the other hand ,I believe examination are not a relaible test of the ability of students.A student may memorise cartain portions of the text and if a question is set from the portions he has prepared ,he will no doubt secure good marks, while another student, brighter and more intelligent than the first ,may not show good results because he did not specially prepare the questions which were set in the examination.Similarly it may be said that the standard of marking all papers is not the same, because different examiners mark differrent papers in different moods. Most educationists now agree that a simple crucial examination is certainly no test of ability;they therefore insist upon a series of tests of knowledge and intelligence over a period of a few years. The argument has no doubt a great deal of truth in it but on the whole it may be said that the good students do not usually show bad results and that negligent students donot usually pass.
It is however undeniable, that examinations do exert an unusual strain upon the minds of students who lose all their zest for life at the commencement of an examination. The reason for all this is that throughout the term the students have paid little heed to their studies so when a test is near they have to concentrate all their energis upon their books. The best way to keep a watch on the students' labour and regularity is through practical series and internal assesment. But in the long run even this has its drawbacks..........
